Mr. Summet Anand, President, IFCCI welcomed all the distinguished speakers and participants with a brief introduction of IFCCI and it’s work culture amidst COVID-19. He was delighted to introduce Mr. Ravin Mirchandani, CEO, Ador Powertron as the moderator for this Panel discussion 

Mr. Mirchandani also being the Chairman to IFCCI Pune, took over the panel and opened the session welcoming all the speakers. He shared his insights on how companies and business has evolved during the pandemic. He posed questions on how each industry saw a transformation in the work culture being it remotely working from home or on site.  

The first panellist, Mr. Beaufort, CEO, BNP Paribas India Branches discussed the banking sector and how it is functioning in these times. Ranging from economic development to financial shortcomings in investment in India scenario and the global impact  

Mr. Farhad Forbes, Co-Chairman at Forbes Marshall distinctively spoke of the development one is seeing in the business world. He is of the opinion that the digital platform has engaged the work culture and has promoted worthy outcome.  

Furthermore, Ms. Gauri Kirloskar, Non-executive Director, Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd, spoke of the growth they have witnessed in spite of the challenges they came across due to this pandemic. Moving virtually did change the of working system at different levels but it makes her feel independent in the oil industry and appreciates the idea of Atmanirbhar Bharat.  

Moving forward, we had Mr. Amit Jain, Managing Director of L’Oréal who shared the realistic approach made to business during these challenging times. Their strategy to divide the team into crisis management during the pandemic and Post COVID-19 sale worked wonders. He firmly affirms that technology has played a vital role in shaping working methods. 

Lastly, Mr. Ashwin Yardi, CEO, Capgemini stated that digitisation has set new standards for the IT sector. It is welcoming new platforms of business bonding's and has equally developed the Virtual contact.  

Mr. Mirchandani being the moderator to this session gracefully performed the Q&A session. Requesting Mr. Rahul Oza, Head Western Region, Roedl and Partners summed up the discussion appreciating the innovative solutions and idea each organisation has come up with to get going attitude in these crises and closed the session
