The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), in partnership with tRetail Labs, organized a Webinar on Understanding the Business of Luxury on 22nd August 2023.
Ms. Rishika Roy, Head - Committees & Partnership, IFCCI, welcomed the participants and speaker for the Session, Prof. Denis Morisset, Founder & CEO, Studeo & Former Executive Director of ESSEC MBA in Luxury Brand Management, ESSEC Business School. She introduced IFCCI's recently launched Luxury Committee and emphasised on luxury being now an important area of focus for IFCCI this year.
Mr. Sushanta Das, Founder & CEO, tRetail shared his thoughts on the growing Luxury Industry in India and introduced the Professor to the audience.
Prof. Denis Morisset, through an interesting presentation, talked about the journey of luxury becoming a business, luxury brand management highlighting the process through which luxury brands establish distinctiveness in the perceptions of their consumers, the intricacies of storytelling, the challenge of striking a harmonious balance between exclusivity, accessibility, and appeal and the strategic significance of luxury retail.
This was followed by an engaging interactive session with participants who joined from various parts of the world.
