Site Visit to L'Oréal Factory
IFCCI successfully organized an exclusive "Site Visit to L'Oréal Factory" on Thursday, the 27th of July in Pune.
The visit was graced by the presence of the Consul General of France in Mumbai, Mr. Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet.
Ms. Shweta Pahuja, Regional Director (Western Region), IFCCI shared the welcome remarks. Mr. Amit GARG, Plant Director, L’Oréal Pune presented the manufacturing process of the products and showcased the standards kept for safety, environment, quality, productivity, and cost while putting people at the centre. The plant achieves environment sustainability by using recyclable shippers reducing close to 40 tons of cardboard waste every year. It has reduced by 95% its carbon emissions and will achieve carbon neutrality soon. The presentation was followed by a plant tour and ended with a Q&A session.
The event was highly appreciated and well received by 25+ participants.
The site visit concluded with a networking session and lunch.
