IFCCI in collaboration with HCL Technologies organized an interactive forum on “Unlocking Sustainable Development through Digitalisation"
Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in collaboration with HCL Technologies, one of the biggest global IT companies, organized an interactive forum on “Unlocking Sustainable Development through Digitalisation” on Wednesday, 07th December 2022 at Hotel Ritz, Paris.
The forum commenced with opening remarks delivered by Mr. Stéphane Lavigne, Vice President, IFCCI France, and Head of Sales & Business Development, Thales. The participants were welcomed by Mr. Sandeep Saxena, Executive Vice President - Royaume-Uni, France & Beneleux, HCLTech.
Mr. Renaud Vedel, Director of the Cabinet, French Ministry for Digital Transition and Telecommunications and Mr. Aurelien PALIX, Head of Networks & Digital Use Division, Directorate General of Entreprises, French Ministry of Economy and Finance addressed the topic << Sustainable Development through Digital Infrastructure.>>
Mr. Aurélien Palix spoke about how digital technologies are helping to improve the environmental impact of economic activities in France and shared the France 2030 Roadmap focussed on digital solutions.
Mr. Renaud VEDEL shared the existing initiatives implemented since 2019 by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance and their ambitious action plan towards a more responsible digital sector.
This was followed by a panel discussion on << Empowering Innovation through Sustainability>> moderated by Mr. Franc Gentili, Senior Vice President and France Country Head, HCLTech.
The eminent speakers included Mr. Denis Guibard, Dean, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School; Mr. Prafull Sharma, Senior Vice President - Strategy, Industrial Automation Business, Schneider Electric and; Ms. Polina KHOMENKO, Political Analyst, Representation of European Commission in France.

The forum ended with an interactive open discussion followed by a Vote of Thanks by M. Franc GENTILI, Senior VP and France Country Head, HCLTech.
