The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), in association with Dua Associates, organized an insightful webinar on "Navigating the Complexities of Anti-Dumping Laws in India" on 29th August 2024.
The session commenced with welcome remarks by Ms. Aarushi Gautam, Manager - Committees and Events (North), IFCCI, followed by introductory remarks from Ms. Meera Krishnan, Principal, Dua Consulting.
Ms. Shiraz R. Patodia, Senior Solicitor at Dua Associates, was the Keynote Speaker at the Session, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on the intricacies of anti-dumping regulations in India. She provided participants with an in-depth understanding of how these laws impact international trade, focusing on the processes involved in anti-dumping investigations, the role of the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), and the Ministry of Finance in imposing duties.
Following the presentation, a Q&A session was held where members had the opportunity to clarify their doubts and gain further insights into the topic. The event was well appreciated by the attendees.
