The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) Pune in association with GDA Consulting organized an insightful webinar on “Demystifying The Special Valuation Branch for Cross Border Trade” on Thursday, 25th July 2024.
Mr. Swapnil Nelugal, Manager – Events & Membership, IFCCI commenced the session by welcoming the participants, setting the context and introducing the speakers.
Mr. Vaibhav Nagarkar, Associate Consultant, GDA Consulting covered the fundamentals of special import valuation and the importance of adhering to customs duty regulations. His analysis of the customs act & procedures highlighted the challenges arising from recent policy changes. He also outlined best practices, and the latest developments in mandates introduced by the government.
