High-Level Roundtable Discussion with Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana.
This high-level interaction brought together leading French companies operating in Telangana, for deeper collaboration with the State Government.
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) successfully organized an exclusive Industry Roundtable with Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana.
The objective of the meeting was to strengthen engagement between the State Government and French companies operating in Telangana, providing a platform for them to share their experiences, highlight the state's business-friendly environment, and offer constructive suggestions to further enhance the ease of doing business.
The session opened with welcome remarks by Mr. Yohann Samuel, Regional Director – South, IFCCI, setting the tone for the discussion. This was followed by special remarks from the Hon’ble Minister, who reaffirmed Telangana’s commitment to international investors and its vision for a progressive and globally competitive industrial ecosystem. He also highlighted the key achievements of the state, particularly in being able to attract foreign investors to set up 70+ GCCs in the regions.
Prominent French investors in the state participated in the discussion, including Monin India, Opella Healthcare, Pernod Ricard, Safran Aircraft Engine Services India, Sanofi India, Teleperformance, ViaPlus, Var Electrochem, and Ziegler-Aerospace. The companies had the opportunity to showcase their ongoing operations, share feedback on the current business climate, and seek support in addressing regulatory and operational challenges. The roundtable was moderated by Mr. Priyank Prakash, Senior Manager – Advocacy & Content, IFCCI, and facilitated a constructive and solutions-oriented dialogue between stakeholders.
This high-level interaction highlighted the growing French business footprint in Telangana and reinforced the mutual intent to deepen economic ties. The meeting concluded with a strong affirmation of the State Government’s willingness to collaborate with the French business community to further strengthen Indo-French economic cooperation in Telangana.
