IFCCI Career Booster Session IV: Crafting Career Narratives
IFCCI under the aegis of its Higher Education Committee successfully organized the 4th Session of its Career Booster series, on 24th June 2025.
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), under the aegis of its Higher Education Committee and with the support of The French Institute in India, successfully organized the fourth Session of its Career Booster series, on the Theme: 'Crafting Career Narratives: Harnessing Storytelling for Professional Growth, Leadership, and Influence', on 24th June 2025.
The session opened with welcome remarks by Ms. Jyotsna Mansukhani, Head – HR & Recruitment Services at IFCCI, who shared an overview of the initiatives of IFCCI Higher Education committee and briefed about the Career Booster series.
This was followed by an interesting fireside conversation between Ms. Maud LE BARS, South Asia Area Manager, OMNES Education & Chairperson, IFCCI Higher Education Committee, and Ms. Mamta Bhatia, Global Services Marketing Hub Leader, Dassault Systèmes.
Ms. Bhatia during the conversation illustrated the power of storytelling in not only marketing, but also in shaping one’s career and leadership path. She also shared an interesting presentation exploring the psychology and structure of effective storytelling, highlighting key elements such as clear timelines and vivid & relatable anecdotes. She demonstrated how these storytelling techniques can enhance professional communication, from writing compelling resumes to performing well in skills-based interviews.
One of the key takeaways from the discussion was the new insights into the science behind storytelling—its connection to the ‘three brains,’ how it engages all five senses, activates different layers of the brain, and evokes emotional connections to achieve desired outcomes.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A session with the participants.
