IFCCI With Cap Inde Delegation - From 29th January to 2nd February 2018
Within the framework of the Club Appui Pays (CAP) Inde along with CCI International, CCI France and CCI Paris Region, IFCCI hosted a delegation of Senior Trade Advisors from the different Chambers of Commerce & Industry in France from the 29th of January – 2nd of February 2018. This 5 member delegation came to India on a Learning Expedition in order to understand the business opportunities in India to promote amongst the French companies belonging to their region.
The objective of their visit was to get detailed information about India, its flourishing economy, cultural aspects and the established as well as upcoming sectors. They intend to share this knowledge with the French companies from their respective regions in the relevant sectors so as to boost trade relations between India and France.
Their programme included a seminar on the Smart City project with a focus on Nagpur which is one of the cities accorded to France by the Indian government, ongoing projects and incentives for investing in Nagpur etc... Apart from the seminar, their programme included a meeting with the Government officials of Maharashtra and site visits to various renowned Indian and French companies from different sectors of activity.
