French Business Delegation Meets DIPP to Discuss Ease of Doing Business
NEW DELHI: On Thursday, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) and the French Embassy led a business delegation to meet with Invest India and the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) to discuss the Ease of Doing Business in India. The meeting with the French delegation comes a day after the announcement of India's impressive jump of 30 points, reaching rank 100 in the Ease of Doing Business index.
This meeting was attended by 25 French companies from sectors such as Defence and Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Food Processing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, etc. This closed door session with Mr Atul Chaturvedi, Additional Secretary, DIPP and Mr Deepak Bagla, CEO, Invest India aimed at looking deeper into the issues and challenges faced by French companies.
