APAC Directors Meeting of French Chambers - A Week of Insights and Collaboration in Japan
Ms.Payal S. Kanwar represented the IFCCI at the APAC Directors Meeting of French Chambers in Tokyo by French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan
Last week, our Director General, Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, represented the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) at the APAC Directors Meeting of French Chambers, hosted in Tokyo by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan. The annual meeting brought together Directors from French Chambers across the Asia-Pacific region for a week of strategic discussions, meaningful exchanges, and regional alignment. The sessions were packed with best practices, innovative approaches, and forward-thinking strategies to scale up Chamber initiatives and strengthen the value offered to our member companies.
-Ms. Kanwar had the honour of meeting H.E. Pierre André Chiappori, Minister for Economy and Finance, Government of Monaco, and H.E. Didier Gamerdinger, Ambassador of Monaco to India and Japan. The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) shares a long-standing relationship with Monaco, having signed an MoU with the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) and led business delegations in 2019 and 2021. We are now gearing up for an Indian business delegation to Monaco in December 2025.
-Another highlight of the visit was the warm reception hosted by H.E. Mr Philippe Setton, Ambassador of France to Japan, with representatives from Business France, les CCE, and other key stakeholders in the Indo-French ecosystem.
-The delegation also had the privilege of visiting the stunning France Pavilion at Expo2025Osaka - a poetic and immersive showcase of French innovation and excellence.
