Mumbai : Indo-French Investment Conclave in Goa

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in association with the Embassy of France in India organized one of the biggest events of the chamber, Indo-French Investment Conclave on Friday, 8th November 2019 in Goa.

The second edition of the Indo-French Investment Conclave took place in Goa on the theme ‘Goa as an Investment Destination’. The event was held in the presence of Shri. Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister, Government of Goa, Shri Shripad Naik Union Minister of State Ministry of Defence and Ms. Sonia Barbry, Consul General Consulate of France in Mumbai.

Furthermore, we had the site visits planned to each of the following sites, Kineco-Kaman Composite Structure which is a multinational joint venture between Kineco Limited (India) and Kaman Aerospace Group (USA). Secondly to Sanofi India, a French pharmaceutical company and lastly to Albea S.A. which offers the world’s largest range of beauty and personal care packaging.

In the business session, we had the sectorial panel discussions on Aerospace and Defence, Shipping and Logistics and Sustainability and Green city, where the speakers explained the growing status of Goa and the western region while making an appeal to participate in the delegation to invest in Goa.

The Indo-French Investment Conclave was to encourage interaction between business communities and government institutions to increase bilateral business opportunities of investment in Goa which attracted a major delegation of 130+ company representatives

The floor was then open for the VIP Dinner and the networking cocktail which was attended by 150 guests at Novotel resort and spa.
