IFCCI Annual Committee Leadership Meet with H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France in India
IFCCI organised its Annual Committee Leaders' Meet on 19th September 2022 at The Claridges Hotel, New Delhi followed by a networking high tea.

IFCCI organized its Annual Committee Leaders' Meet, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India, and Mr. Rajendra Ratnoo, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, Govt. of India, on 19th September 2022 at the Claridges Hotel, New Delhi.
The leaders of IFCCI's sectoral and functional committees presented the industry highlights for respective sectors and shared their vision plan for this year in an endeavor to organize meaningful and valuable interactions for its members.
Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI reiterated the objective of IFCCI Committees and the focus areas for this year, with sustainability as the main theme for interactions along with a focus on organizing in-person meetings.
The Presentation of Committees was moderated by Ms. Rishika Roy, Head-Committees & Partnerships, IFCCI.
H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India shared his remarks and feedback on IFCCI Committees and suggested a few focus areas to build on India-France partnership. He also emphasized on the importance of involving Alumni from French Business Schools in IFCCI activities.
Mr. Rajendra Ratnoo, Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India appreciated the work of the Committees and talked about certain initiatives undertaken by the Givernment of India to improve the ease of doing business in India. He mentioned about Gati Shakti being an important initiative announced by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi with an objective to build holistic infrastructure through a digital platform. He also emphasized on climate-resilient development and sustainability and the need to focus on reducing our carbon footprint with greener and more responsible consumption.
Mr. Eric Fajole, Head, Business France, and Mr. Benoît Gauthier, Head, Regional Economic Service, Embassy of France also joined the meeting and shared their thoughts on the immense scope of cooperation between India and France.
The event was followed by a members' networking evening with an objective to come together and interact on common areas as well as to explore other synergies of cooperation.
