French Delegation Visits MIHAN Project

Delegates of France appreciated the infrastructure created at Multimodal International Hub Airport Nagpur (MIHAN) and hoped that companies in France are willing to invest in India and particularly in Nagpur too.

A business delegate from France visited MIHAN project recently. The delegation include the members of French Aerospace Industries Association called, “GIFAS”. Michel Paskoff, Director General, Industrialization of Dassault Aviation and Bertrand Lucereau, President of GIFAS SME’s led the delegation.

Daniel CHAFFRAIX, EVP, North America and India, ALTRAN, while talking with MADC officials said that “He is impressed by infrastructure development in MIHAN. Nagpur has all the potential to develop as an Aviation and Aerospace Hub very soon.”

The delegation also saw all the prominent companies in MIHAN and visited TAL industry, DRAL, link Taxiway and the project site of Turgis and Gilliard, an aerospace industry coming up soon in MIHAN.

The program was jointly hosted by Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd. (MADC), Office of the Development Commissioner, MIHAN SEZ and Dassault Reliance Aerospace Ltd. (DRAL). The delegates were welcomed in Indian Traditional way at the entrance of Central Facility Building in MIHAN. The delegation includes the CEOs and officials of Aerospace Companies of France namely, AAA, Altran, Axon, Dedienne Aerospace, Finaero, Gaches Chimie, Paris Saint-Denis Aero, Secamic, Segula, Trigo, Weare AEROSPACE etc. and was coordinated by DASSAULT Aviation, France, the manufacturer of world famous defence aircraft RAFALE and high end FALCON family business jets.
