Bangalore : Leadership Talk With Mr. Mohandas Pai

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) in Bangalore conducted the second edition of its Leadership Talk series, with a talk by Mr. TV Mohandas Pai on “India@2030-How Tech Entrepreneurship will create a 10Tr$ economy” for the Indo-French business community on Monday, 22nd April 2019 at The Gateway Hotel by Taj conducted in partnership with Virtual Auditors Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Mohandas Pai is an Indian businessman, who as the CFO of Infosys, played a strategic role in transforming the company into one of the world's most respected and widely known software services firms and also helped enable the company to receive the first ever listing of an India-registered company on NASDAQ. He is a Padma Shri Awardee by the Govt. of India, and one of the most dynamic philanthropist and influential mentor & investor in the country.
Succeeding his role at Infosys, Mr. Pai had taken up other prominent roles in parallel, a few of which are below:
- Chairman - Regulatory and Financial Technology Committee, SEBI
- Board Member, National Stock Exchange
- Governing Council Member, CAFRAL (RBI)
- Board Member, NIIF
- Chairman, Manipal Global Education
- Chairman, Aarin Capital
The event began with a welcome address and brief introduction by Payal S. Kanwar, Director General of IFCCI followed by special remarks by Mr. Francois Gautier, French Consul General in Bangalore on growing Indo-French relations. Succeeding the introductory session, Mr. Mohandas Pai spoke on the current economic scenario of India viz. a viz. the world from various aspects & industries driving the economy and the challenges that India currently faces, some also contributed by the consistent growth and on what the future beholds for the country. The insights were informative, paced full of energy with generous time for the Q&A session post the presentation.
The event was interactive, informative and well received by all the participants and concluded with a networking session.
