Mr. Aman Peshawari, CEO, Meenu Creation LLP

1. What is the biggest opportunity you see for Indo-French business collaboration by 2030? Please let us know how your company/organisation is preparing for it.

By 2030, the biggest opportunity lies in co-creating sustainable, traceable, and design-driven textile and apparel solutions for the European market. French brands are increasingly demanding transparency, lower environmental impact, and reliable near-shoring partners. India is uniquely positioned to deliver on all three.

At Meenu Creation, we’re preparing for this shift by investing heavily in green manufacturing, digitised supply chains, and category expansion. Our upcoming sustainable factory in Odisha and our six existing units in Noida allow us to offer scale, speed, and responsible production. We are also strengthening product development to align with French consumer sensibilities: elevated basics, cleaner silhouettes, and sustainable materials.

2. In today’s evolving global landscape, how are you building resilience and agility in your leadership strategy?

My approach has been simple: diversify, digitise, and stay deeply connected to both the shop floor and the market. We are expanding setting up the Odisha smart factory to de-risk capacity while strengthening speed to market.

At a leadership level, agility comes from constant learning and empowering my teams. I spend time across factories, with buyers, and at global fairs to stay close to trends, technology, and customer expectations. That helps us pivot fast, whether it’s machinery upgrades, compliance shifts, or sudden demand surges.

3. With sustainability and innovation now essential to business success, could you share some recent initiatives your company has undertaken in these areas?

We’ve integrated sustainability into the way we operate, not as a project, but as a practice.

Some key steps:

  • Solar power across all factories
  • ETP/STP systems for responsible water management
  • Expansion into certified sustainable fabrics and full traceability
  • Skill-development programs for women and tribal communities
  • Designing Odisha as a fully green factory with automation and energy-efficient tech

These initiatives help us meet global ESG expectations while strengthening long-term competitiveness.

4. With 2026 being celebrated as the Indo-French Year of Innovation, how do you envision this initiative creating new opportunities for growth and collaboration?

This initiative is a chance to bring Indian manufacturing strength and French design excellence into the same room. I see opportunities in collaborative product development, sustainable material R&D, and tech-enabled supply chains. India can provide scale and flexibility; France brings creative direction and evolving consumer insights.

For Meenu Creation, it’s an opportunity to deepen our engagement with French brands, co-develop collections, and explore joint sustainability pilots especially around circularity, recycling, and low-impact production.

5. As a CEO, how do you view India's role in your global growth strategy and what strategic advantages does the country offer your business or the industry you operate in?

India is the anchor of our global strategy. The country offers a unique mix of skilled labour, deep textile heritage, improving infrastructure, and a government that is actively supporting manufacturing through incentives and logistics upgrades.

For our industry, the biggest advantage is India’s ability to deliver quality, scale, compliance, and sustainable production without losing cost competitiveness. Our six factories in Noida and the upcoming Odisha facility allow us to serve global brands with reliability and speed, while tapping into India’s growing talent pool and long term manufacturing potential.
