IFCCI in collaboration with DUA Associates is organising a virtual session on Decoding the Law on POSH on Friday, 29th August 2025. 

Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act) provides a statutory framework for addressing sexual harassment in workplaces across India. While the basic requirements, such as constituting Internal Committees and addressing complaints within defined timelines are widely understood, several nuanced situations often fall outside the explicit provisions of the Act and its rules. With the recent amendment to the Companies (Accounts) Second Amendment Rules2025 mandating additional reporting of sexual harassment cases, there is an increased need for organizations to understand these grey areas and adopt best practices. Drawing on its extensive experience in advising corporates and serving as external members on Internal Committees, Dua Associates aims to address these nuances and evolving judicial interpretations to strengthen compliance and ensure fair, empathetic proceedings.
