The 2025 edition of the Franco-Indian R&D Club, will focus on the topic "Exploring AI & Data Opportunities"
This event is organised by the French Embassy in India in collaboration with IIT Bombay, IITB Research Park, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), the French External Trade Advisors (CCEF), La French Tech India and Business France.
It brings together, players from the academic sector, R&D, industry and French and Indian start-ups to discuss the opportunities and challenges related to data in the four areas identified for the 2026 Franco-Indian Year of Innovation:
- aeronautics
- health, well-being and food
- sustainable development and energy transition
- cultural and creative industries.
Sessions of different formats are planned so that all participants can be actively involved (round tables and thematic discussion sessions followed by feedback and proposals), which will address various topics related to AI in the manufacturing sector (innovations and future trends), AI in Healthcare, AI in clean energy and sustainability, and finally, ethics, regulations & future.
This R&D Club also aims to strengthen ties between participants for future cooperation projects and will be an opportunity for an initial exchange ahead of the 2026 Franco-Indian Year of Innovation and the next AI summit.
