Ravin MirchandaniVice Chairperson, IFCCI ; Executive Chairman, Ador Powertron Ltd

Ravin MIRCHANDANI has significant international experience, having directly lived and worked in 6 countries across Europe, Asia, Russia, Australia, India, France, Hong Kong and Indonesia.  His experience spans the cryogenic, defence, energy and traffic infrastructure industries. 

Ravin completed his MBA in Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, (International Business).  He previously worked with Origin Energy – Australia’s largest energy company, responsible for the towngas business for one part of Australia (SA &NT). He later was Head of Origin for Southeast Asia, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.  Prior to that he worked with Air Liquide with the global strategy and acquisitions team in Paris and as MD of one of the business lines in India. 

Presently Ravin manages a business that spans India and Australia focusing on the road and clean energy sectors, i.e. carbon free mobility as well as road safety solutions. Ravin is a member of the board of directors of Ador Powertron & Quench Chargers (India), as well as Acusensus Ltd (ASX: ACE) and Mack Valves, (both based in Melbourne, Australia).  He spends his time between Australia and India.  Ravin is Chair for the Indo Australian Chamber of Commerce for West India, is co-chair of the chambers India infrastructure industry CEO panel. Her is also Vice President of the Indo French Chamber of Commerce & Industry. 

Ravin is host of the Energizing India podcast which focuses on the energy transition sector and part of the investment committee of an early-stage fund that focuses on enabling starts up in the energy transition sector that are solving unique problems.  


Ravin has a private pilots license and very occasionally takes his cycle out for a pre-dawn run up a hill in Pune.
