Megha ChopraBusiness Head – Trade, Kotak Mahindra Bank

Megha Chopra has joined Kotak Mahindra Bank as Business Head – Trade for Wholesale Business Group. She has over 24 years of experience with leading MNC Banks where she has lead multifunctional and multi-location 
based diverse teams across Trade and Corporate Banking roles. Megha is known for her unique blend of deep industry knowledge in trade finance, payments, and Fintech partnerships, 
coupled with rich experience in trade structuring and financing.
Prior to her current role at Kotak Mahindra Bank, she served as Head of Asia, Trade Sales at Citi 
Bank, Singapore, where she led trade sales across 15 markets, playing a pivotal role in building both traditional and structured trade finance portfolios. Megha’s career spans leadership and strategic roles at American Express, Standard Chartered Bank, Moody’s, and Ernst & Young, giving her a well-rounded perspective on banking, credit, and financial advisory.
Megha is a qualified Chartered Accountant (AIR 7), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University.
