Muthu primarily handles issues related to clearance searches, Filing and Prosecution of Trade Mark Applications and renders opinions on issues relating to enforcement of intellectual property rights.
He has experience of appearing for Opposition/Rectification before the Trade Marks Registry and Intellectual Property Appellate Board, IPR Due Diligence and Enforcement.
He frequently appears before the High Court of Madras, District Courts and other judicial forum.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Muthu was practicing before the High Court of Madras and later worked as Examiner of Trade Marks at the Indian TM Registry.
