Dr. Sangkaran RatnamCountry Chair - India, Chairman & Managing Director, TotalEnergies Gas and Power Projects India

Dr. Ratnam holds a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Cambridge University, a Master’s in Geo-Environmental Engineering from MIT, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London. He has been with TotalEnergies since 2002, with over two decades of international experience across Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe, handling major energy projects, joint ventures, negotiations and government relations.

Currently, he serves as Chairman and Managing Director – GRP India and Country Chair for TotalEnergies in India, overseeing TotalEnergies’ joint venture partnerships with the Adani Group. He is also a board member of Adani Total Gas Ltd. (ATGL) and Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL).
