Dr. Arun JAURAManaging Director, Michelin India Technology Centre

Dr. Arun Jaura leads the operations of Michelin India Technology Centre which is responsible for research and development work for Car, and Truck and Bus Tyres for Africa, Middle-East, India, Asia and China. Michelin India Technology Centre is a part of Michelin worldwide R&D network. 

Dr. Jaura has over 30 years of global experience across 3 continents, in diverse industry sectors. Prior to joining Michelin, he has held several leadership roles in companies such as Traktion, SAE International, Eaton, Mahindra and Mahindra and Ford Motor Company among others. 

He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Mobility Committee of Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is a member of European Advisory Committee for SAE International based in Brussels. He was also on the Board of Director in SAE International (Society of Automotive Engineers) in the US. He was a member of the National Board of Electric Mobility in India. 

Dr. Jaura is the 2004 recipient of the prestigious Henry Ford Technical Achievement Award from Ford in Michigan. He is also a SAE Technical Fellow. Dr. Jaura is a co-inventor of five international patents filed in the US. 

He has a PhD in Robotic Assembly using Artificial Intelligence from Concordia University, Montreal. He obtained his Masters in Technology from IITM, Chennai.
