Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organized a visit and presentation for the youth of Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) (Sangam Vihar centre) at its office in New Delhi on 6th July 2023.
LP4Y is an international movement of local organizations specializing in the development of innovative solutions for the professional and social integration of excluded Youth living in extreme poverty. Since 2017, its structure has been guaranteeing the sharing of good practices and the consistency of actions developed.
Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General welcomed them to the IFCCI office and apprised them about the various departments and services provided by the Chamber. The team informed them about their daily tasks around finance, administration, communications, membership, events, committees, and HR and business support services.
There were 15 young girls in the age group of 17 to 22 years who shared their ambitions with the team. The idea behind this site visit was to familiarise the youth and introduce them into corporate jobs in few months.
The youth were also taken for a show around of the office and the Tennis Stadium. The team interacted with them over lunch to demonstrate professional behaviour.
