IFCCI organised a webinar on “Resilient Inclusion: The Way Forward”, on Wednesday, 25th March 2026
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organised a webinar on “Resilient Inclusion: The Way Forward”, on Wednesday, 25th March 2026, bringing together industry leaders to explore how inclusive leadership is evolving as a strategic priority.
The discussion opened with Shweta Pahuja, Regional Director (Western Region), IFCCI who emphasised how inclusion today is no longer a parallel initiative, but a core driver of resilience, innovation, and sustainable growth, while also highlighting IFCCI’s own commitment to fostering inclusion.
The fireside chat, moderated by Vandana Tilwani CHRO - Havas India & Chief Inclusion Officer - Havas APAC, featuring Anish Gawande National Spokesperson - Nationalist Congress Party (SP) and Feroza Engineer Founder & CEO - Feroza & Co. brought forward thought-provoking perspectives on:
- Importance of allyship and the role of active support from those in positions of influence
- Embedding inclusion into everyday leadership behaviours and organisational decision-making
- Fostering psychological safety to enable open dialogue and diverse perspectives
- Moving beyond representation to create genuine participation, voice, and a sense of belonging
Taking the conversation forward, a dynamic panel moderated by Zainab Patel, Independent DE&I Consultant, brought together Deepti Sharma HR Head - Ayvens India, Capt. Raman Raina, HR Head - Grindwell Norton Ltd. (Saint-Gobain Group), Sumati Sahgal, Vice President Data Centres and Secure Power - Schneider Electric India and Garima Verma, Head Diversity & Inclusion - Technip Energies India Ltd. who offered their insights from an organisational and HR leadership lens such as:
- The need to move from intent to measurable and accountable inclusion outcomes
- Critical role of middle management in translating inclusion strategies into everyday practice
- Overlapping challenges faced by women and LGBTQIA+ leaders, particularly around bias, visibility, and leadership perception
- Importance of aligning global inclusion frameworks with local cultural contexts to drive meaningful impact
- Role of organisations in creating sustained, structural change rather than one-time initiatives
This session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where audience questions further explored the challenges of driving inclusion and reinforcing the need for continuous dialogue.
