La CCI France-Inde was proud to play a key role in organising to the 2024 Asia-Pacific Forum of French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE), held in New Delhi. This three-day event brought together over 450 participants – business leaders, policymakers, and foreign trade experts – for strategic discussions on the Indo-Pacific and opportunities for collaboration between France and the APAC region.
Key Highlights from Day 1
The opening day, hosted at the Pullman Aerocity Hotel, focused on the strategic importance of the Indo-Pacific for French businesses:
• Keynote addresses by Pierre-Arnaud Cassin (President of the India Committee of the CCEs) and Sophie Sidos Vicat (President of the CCEs).
• A compelling session on Indo-Pacific challenges, led by ambassadors and economic diplomacy representatives, including Marc Abensour and Jean-Claude Brunet.
• High-level official messages from India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, shared via Minister Piyush Goyal, and France’s Minister for Foreign Trade Sophie Primas.
• The day concluded with a reception at the French Ambassador's residence and the announcement of the winners of the 2024 Asia-Pacific VIE Grand Prix.
Days 2 and 3: In-Depth Discussions and Future Outlook
The following days offered valuable insights into global trends, including:
• A geopolitical and economic analysis of the Indo-Pacific, featuring speakers like Maurice Gourdault-Montagne and Thierry Apoteker.
• Discussions on aeronautics, space, and sustainable cities, with highlights such as the Nusantara project, Indonesia's new capital.
• A session on innovation and technological governance in Asia, led by visionaries such as Sharad Sharma.
• A powerful closing session with keynote speeches by Guy Sidos and Claude Onesta.

This forum not only emphasized France’s strategic role in the Indo-Pacific but also highlighted tangible opportunities for French businesses in sustainability, innovation, and emerging technologies.
