The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), under the aegis of its Higher Education Committee and with the support of The French Institute in India, successfully organized the fifth Session of its Career Booster series, on the Theme: 'Cultivating Executive Presence and Gravitas', on 29th September 2025.

The session opened with welcome remarks by Ms. Jyotsna Mansukhani, Head – HR & Recruitment Services at IFCCI, who shared an overview of the initiatives of IFCCI Higher Education committee and briefed about the Career Booster series.

This was followed by an insightful and interactive session by Ms. Anjali Patil, Founder and Director-illumina Consulting, where she not only defined what executive presence truly means, but also explored the three pillars of presence that leaders can cultivate to make a lasting impact. She took participants through the neuroscience behind confidence and influence, offering practical strategies to avoid common pitfalls, project authority and strengthen daily leadership impact, while encouraging participants to self-assess.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, followed by a vote of thanks by Ms. Maud Le Bars, Chairperson, IFCCI Higher Education Committee and South Asia Area Manager, OMNES Education.

One of the key takeaways from the session was, “Executive presence isn’t just about confidence—it’s about how you project authenticity, influence others, and create meaningful connections. Small, consistent habits, informed by the science of the brain, can dramatically enhance credibility and leadership impact, even in virtual and hybrid settings.”
