Women Leadership & India–France Year of Innovation | Event Recap

IFCCI was delighted to bring the Indo‑French business community together at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) in Paris for a special forum on Women Leadership & India–France Year of Innovation. This event marked an important step in strengthening IFCCI’s presence in France and engaging with our network here.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Embassy of India in France for partnering with us and to the Fondation France-Asie for their valuable support.

The morning featured insightful perspectives from Ms. Eenam Gambhir and Ms. Bénédicte Épinay, followed by rich discussions on women leadership across creativity, STEM and industry and the cultural and economic ties between India and France.

The exchanges touched on critical questions raised during the session:
• How do we accelerate women’s representation in leadership?
• What structural and cultural shifts are needed?
• How do we ensure women lead in AI and the future of work?

A special highlight was also the presentation by E‑mma on the CodeAtHome program underscoring the importance of inclusive tech education.

Participants also heard an important update on the France–India AI Initiative, outlining the way forward for bilateral collaboration in AI research, governance, and innovation.

We were also proud to present the newly launched Indo‑French Innovation Network, a flagship platform to strengthen bilateral collaboration in innovation.

Our Director General Payal S. Kanwar, Regional Director Yohann Samuel and our new Head of IFCCI France Rachelle Rullaud-Dham were pleased to welcome our members and partners in Paris and look forward to building on this momentum.

A warm thank you to all participants and contributors for making this event a success.
