LVMH x Ministry of Textile: Bilateral Exchange: IFCCI Facilitates Meeting Between LVMH and Ministry of Textiles

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) facilitated a strategic meeting in Paris between representatives of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and an official delegation led by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Hosted at LVMH Headquarters, the interaction focused on exploring future synergies across craftsmanship, talent development, sustainability, and industrial cooperation.

During the session, discussions centered on India’s growing role within the global luxury value chain—highlighting raw material sourcing, artisanal heritage, and sustainable practices. Both parties explored opportunities to support local craft ecosystems, streamline operational frameworks, and foster academic partnerships to promote skill exchange between French luxury expertise and Indian institutions like the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
