This past weekend, IFCCI’s France Chapter Head, Rachelle RULLAUD-DHAM, attended Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice - a flagship Government of India initiative showcasing the country’s innovation ecosystem and bringing together 𝟏𝟐𝟎 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩-𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬, 𝟏𝟓+ 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 across AI, aerospace, semiconductors, energy, and emerging technologies.

With Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) actively supporting the India–France innovation agenda through activities carried out under the 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚–𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, our role in operating the𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚-𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 (𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐍), and a range of sector-focused initiatives and industry engagements throughout the year, Bharat Innovates provided a valuable platform to engage with innovators, businesses, institutions, and policymakers shaping the future of collaboration between our two countries.

The event took place against the backdrop of an increasingly ambitious France–India innovation partnership, marked by the adoption of the 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚-𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟎. The roadmap highlights the India-France Innovation Network (IFIN) as a key achievement of the India-France Year of Innovation and an important mechanism for strengthening collaboration between the two innovation ecosystems. As the organisation entrusted with operating the IFIN platform, IFCCI is proud to contribute to this shared vision by connecting startups, corporates, researchers, investors, institutions and public stakeholders across both countries.

The event showcased the growing momentum behind Indo-French innovation cooperation, reflected in the 𝟑𝟎+ 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐔𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬. We were particularly pleased to see members of the wider IFCCI network contributing to this momentum:

🔹 Sarvam AI, co-founded by FIF Young Leader Dr. Pratyush Kumar
🔹 CYRAN AI, which signed a strategic MoU with Safran Aircraft Engines, alongside FIF Young Leader Manan Suri, advancing the application of AI in aerospace

On the sidelines of the event, Rachelle had the opportunity to briefly interact with Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, as well as several prominent leaders from India's business & innovation ecosystem.

As IFCCI continues to strengthen its presence in France, we remain committed to supporting our members, facilitating meaningful partnerships, & helping translate the growing momentum in France–India relations into tangible business, technology, & innovation opportunities.
