IFCCI CSR Committee Session on 'Building Responsible and Resilient Value Chains'

IFCCI CSR Committee organised a virtual Session on "Building Responsible and Resilient Value Chains: The ESG Imperative for Indo-French Business"

The CSR Committee of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in association with Corporate Professionals, successfully organised a virtual Session on “Building Responsible and Resilient Value Chains: The ESG Imperative for Indo-French Business” on 17 July 2026.

The session commenced with welcome remarks by Ms. Aarushi Gautam, Sr. Manager – Committees & Events (North), IFCCI, followed by keynote remarks by Mr. Gopalkrishna Bhat, Senior Business Leader – Sustainability & ESG Advocate, Dassault Systèmes. Drawing on his experience with European manufacturers, Mr. Bhat highlighted how sustainability, enabled by digital technologies, is driving innovation, resilience, and long-term competitiveness, while creating new opportunities for India and France to build responsible and globally competitive value chains.

Delivering the theme presentation, Mr. Pranav Munji, AVP – ESG & Sustainable Services, Corporate Professionals, shared insights on how the India–EU FTA, CBAM, CSRD, CSDDD, Digital Product Passport, and India's evolving ESG framework are reshaping global trade. 

A compelling fireside conversation on 'From Complaince to Competitive Advantage: ESG Leadership in Practice' followed - Ms. Anuradha Suvarna, Chief Sustainability Officer & Head CSR, L'Oréal India and Dr. Nirav Mandhir, Chief Human Capital & Sustainability Officer, Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK) were in conversation Mr. Pranav Munji.

The discussion reinforced several strategic realities:
🔹ESG is becoming a core business strategy
🔹Responsible value chains require deep collaboration across supplier ecosystems
🔹Leadership commitment, robust ESG data, and measurable outcomes are emerging as critical differentiators for global businesses
🔹Sustainability is rapidly becoming a gateway to market access and a source of competitive advantage

The Session concluded with an engaging Q&A session with the participating members.
