IFCCI successfully hosted a CEO Roundtable on Strengthening Indo-French Business Engagement in Maharashtra on 15th Oct

On the sidelines of the inaugural Indo-French Manufacturing Seminar, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) convened a CEO Roundtable with Dr. Amol Shinde, Joint CEO – Investment Promotion, MIDC, in the presence of Mr. Patrick Leverino, Consul General of France in Mumbai, on 15 October 2026 in Pune.

Building on the longstanding association between IFCCI and MIDC, and the MoU between the two organisations to facilitate French investment in Maharashtra, the roundtable was organised in collaboration with the Consulate General of France in Mumbai and the Regional Economic Department, Embassy of France in India.

As part of this ongoing engagement, our knowledge partner, RÖDL India Pvt. Ltd., presented a White Paper based on a survey of French companies operating in the region, capturing industry perspectives and recommendations on the business environment in Maharashtra.

The roundtable provided a valuable platform for constructive dialogue between French companies and MIDC’s regional representatives, including Chief Engineers and Executive Engineers. The exchange offered an opportunity to share perspectives, discuss matters of mutual interest, and explore avenues for continued coordination and support.
