IFCCI Annual National Committees Meet 2026, organised by the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in association with the Embassy of France in India and the Federation of European Business in India (FEBI).

Hosted on the 9th of July at the Embassy of France, New Delhi, the event brought together 100+ leaders from government, industry, and the Indo-French business community to discuss the future of bilateral trade, innovation, and economic cooperation in the context of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement.

The event commenced with remarks by Ms. Payal S. Kanwar & Ms. Axelle Blanchard, Deputy Head of the French Regional Economic Department for India and South Asia, Embassy of France reflecting on the remarkable growth of IFCCI's 17 committees since 2018 and reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening the India-France strategic partnership.

The program was enriched by a Special Address from Mr. Darpan Jain, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Government of India. Sharing valuable insights on the transformative potential of the India–EU FTA, he emphasised that the Agreement should be viewed as the beginning of a new phase of collaboration, with the focus now shifting towards translating its commitments into actionable plans, sector-specific projects, and measurable bilateral trade outcomes. He also highlighted the importance of sustained government-industry dialogue to ensure effective implementation.

The event also featured the presentation of the India-France Economic Report 2026, where Mr. Priyank Prakash, Deputy Head – Advocacy, IFCCI, shared key economic trends, investment opportunities, and strategic sectors that will shape the next chapter of the Indo-French partnership.
