IFCCI - 5th Edition of Indo-French Industries Meet - Hyderabad

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) Hyderabad successfully hosted the 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁, bringing together over 80 participants including senior industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders from the Indo-French ecosystem. The event commenced with a networking breakfast, creating an engaging platform for meaningful exchanges, with Mr. Nakul D. leading the proceedings for the day.

The event officially opened with remarks from Mr. Germain Araud, Vice President, IFCCI Hyderabad & Managing Director, Monin India, setting the tone for the day.

This was followed by a special address by Mr. Marc Lamy, Consul General of France in Bangalore, who highlighted the strength of Indo-French relations, the growing interest of French companies in Telangana, and the relevance of the event theme in the context of the India-France Year of Innovation.

Mr. Nikhil Chakravarthi J, I.A.A.S, Commissioner / Director of Industries, Government of Telangana, presented the dynamic industrial and innovation landscape of Telangana and the growing opportunities for global partnerships in his special address.

An insightful expert address by Mr. Jayesh Sanghvi, Tax Partner & Office Managing Partner – Hyderabad, EY India, provided valuable perspectives on the evolving economic and business landscape.

The event then moved into the first panel discussion on “Exploring Opportunities in Emerging Technologies and Innovation Landscape,” expertly moderated by Mr. Pankaj Sachdeva, Zonal Head – Global & Large Clients Group, ICICI Bank. The panel featured:
• Mr. Harsh Vardhan, Global Head – Digital Innovation, Apollo Tyres
• Mr. Sarvesh Singh, Director & CEO – Life Sciences, Government of Telangana

The discussion focused on emerging and deep tech trends, regulatory considerations, and sector-specific opportunities.

This was followed by the second panel on “Technology Transfer & Knowledge Sharing: Building a Globally Connected Innovation Ecosystem,” superbly moderated by Ms. Giselle Barboza, Tax Partner & French Business Desk Leader, EY India. The panel included:
• Mr. Prashant Vijay, Head of Global Tech Hub, L’Oréal India
• Dr Rama Iyer, (Ph.D), Head of Innovation, GMR Group
• Mr. Vikas Dargan, Head of Digital Functions – Hyderabad Hub & ERP Products and Service, Sanofi India

The session highlighted the importance of cross-border collaboration, knowledge sharing, and scaling innovation through global partnerships.
The event concluded with engaging discussions and strong participation, reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a key hub for Indo-French collaboration.
