Art de Vivre à la française 2024 Exhibition

Business France in partnership with the IFCCI organized the Art de Vivre à la française 2024 Exhibition from 21-22 March 2024 in New Delhi

Business France in partnership with the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) organized the Art de Vivre à la française 2024 Exhibition from 21-22 March 2024 in New Delhi. This first of its kind, two-day exhibition showcased the finest aspects of the French lifestyle, ranging from architecture, interior design, furniture, tableware, and technologies, to home décor.
 
The event started with a special preview of the exhibition at the Bikaner House in New Delhi. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, the Ambassador of France to India, and the Princess of Jaipur, Smt Diya Kumari, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, which set the tone for an immersive experience of the elegance and sophistication of French living.
 
30 French brands, who flew from France specifically for this exhibition, brought their most exquisite creations to engaging with a crowd of 300 + designers, architects, and importers/distributors in New Delhi, each exhibit truly embodied the essence of the Frenchlifestyle. This exposition undoubtedly ignited discussions on French design and living in India, paving the way for exciting future collaborations between the two nations.
 
Beyond the exhibition floor, a conference highlighting "Creative Dialogue" was organized by the French Institute in India where renowned heritage companies, such as Féau, Mathieu Lustrerie , and Lesage, world-renowned French and Indian architect studios like Wilmotte & Associés, represented by its CEO Borina Andrieu, Morphogenesis and its founder Sonali Rastogi, Jean-Louis Deniot, and Aparna Kaushik, as well as promising French designers who are committed to working with great craftsmanship such as RoWin Atelier (a duo composed of Hervé Winkler and Frédéric Rochette), Hugo Besnier, and other key opinion leaders of the industry, and the creative sector like designer Gaurav Gupta. Mobilier National and its representatives participated in the discussions and shared examples of mixing traditional "savoir-faire" and contemporary creation.
 
The event concluded with a networking cocktail at the DLF Chanakya Mall, where distinguished personalities from the lifestyle segment and guests from IFCCI and Business France came together for an enchanting evening, further celebrating the essence of French Art de Vivre in the heart of New Delhi.
