The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) - launched its 5th Chapter in Pune on 29th November 2019, by organising an Exclusive Breakfast Session with a Renowned French Economist, Dr. Jean-Joseph Boillot.

The session commenced by Mr Bruno Bronquard, Regional Director, IFCCI welcoming the guests and introducing them to the activities and opportunities available for the delegates that were present.

The speakers addressed the Challenges and Situation for Indian Economy in 2020 along with the impact of Indirect Taxes and GST on businesses in India. This created immense interests and saw participation from over 35 Indian and French companies operating out of Pune.

Dr. Boillot then explained his views on the future of Indian Economy and the need for frugal innovations and addressing the domestic market especially in the agriculture sector alongside considering Africa and South East Asia as an investment destination
