New Delhi : Launch of IFCCI General Counsels and Corporate Affairs Heads Committee

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry successfully launched it’s General Counsels and Corporate Affairs Heads Committee on Monday, 16th September 2019 at Pernod Ricard’s office in Gurugram.

The General Counsels and Corporate Affairs Heads Committee was launched in the in the presence of Mr. Richard Yung, Senator, Representative
of French Citizens living abroad and Mr. Renaud Gaillard, IP Counsellor of Embassy of France.

The meeting started with a brief introduction by IFCCI’s Director General, Ms. Payal S. Kanwar; Mr. Rajiv Chauhan, Chairman of IFCCI General Counsels and Corporate Affairs Heads Committee and Group Counsel at Pernod Ricard.

The launch meeting identified and discussed the major problems and issues faced by General Counsels across sectors. The committee has identified
advocacy and knowledge sharing as their key activities with a focus on Ease of doing business, tax, FDI and Data privacy as their core topics to be focused upon.

The meeting ended with a wine tasting session led by Sommelier Anna Maury from Pernod Ricard.
