French Auto Company PSA Steps Up India Plans
After Chinese and Korean carmakers, it’s now time for France’s PSA Group to take forward its India plans. According to sources aware of the development, the French auto major, which bought the iconic Ambassador brand, will be holding a meeting of suppliers in Chennai on December 7.
The carmaker has called more than 50 suppliers, including Motherson Sumi, UNO Minda, Spark Minda, and the Rane Group, to attend the meeting.
“The chief of global sourcing, and senior management of PSA will be in Chennai to decide on the start of the production and sourcing process. The carmaker is looking to make India the export hub for the emerging markets,” said a person aware of the plans.",said a person aware of the plans.
