The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), in association with HAROPA PORT, organised an exclusive business and logistics seminar in Mumbai on “HAROPA PORT: Your Green Corridor Gateway to French & European Markets,” bringing together leaders from the logistics and trade ecosystem.
Delivering the welcome remarks, Venu Shanbhag, Vice President – Western Region, IFCCI, and Executive Director, Grindwell Norton Ltd (Saint Gobain Group) highlighted the rising importance of India–France trade ties and the need for stronger, future-ready logistics corridors.
We were joined by the HAROPA PORT delegation Kris Danaradjou- Deputy General Manager, Cédric Virciglio-Director – International & European Affairs and Hervé Bonis- President, Le Havre Territorial Development Council, who provided key insights on:
HAROPA’s role as France’s leading port complex, backed by robust maritime and multimodal connectivity.
Direct India–Europe routes offering competitive transit times and 110+ commercial shipping offers.
Strong bilateral trade flows, especially in pharmaceuticals, textiles, automotive and manufacturing.
A clear sustainability roadmap, from green logistics platforms to hydrogen and decarbonisation initiatives.
The evening then opened to networking cocktails and dinner, creating opportunities for dynamic exchanges on enhancing India–Europe trade pathways.
