IFCCI Pune | Workshop on Beyond Design Thinking: Ethnographic Listening for Insights and Innovation
IFCCI Pune in collaboration with FUEL organized a dynamic workshop on ‘Beyond Design Thinking:Ethnographic Listening for Insights and Innovation'.
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) Pune, in collaboration with Friends Union For Energising Lives (FUEL), Pune, successfully organized a dynamic half day workshop on: ‘Beyond Design Thinking: Ethnographic Listening for Insights and Innovation’.
The highly interactive workshop was led by an expert facilitator - Manoj Kothari, Co-founder and Chief Strategist at Turian Labs, and Nidhi Shand , Project Manager at Turian Labs -Strategic Foresight & Innovation Consulting.
Participants gained practical tools to listen deeply and uncover hidden insights from everyday interactions. With a key takeaway being the art of asking the right questions - not just to gather information, but to truly understand behaviours, motivations, and context. Through two engaging role-plays - one based on a hypothetical scenario and the other on real-life situations - they explored how questions like “Why?”, “What?”, and “What does this really mean?” can shift narratives. Rotating through different roles to gather multiple perspectives, participants got powerful realizations and fresh ways of approaching unresolved challenges.
Workshops like these reaffirm the value of slowing down, listening deeply, and asking with curiosity.
