The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in association with Horizon Industrial Parks organised an insightful site visit to the TACO Punch Powertrain Factory on Wednesday, 10th September 2025, in Chakan, Pune.
The visit commenced with welcome remarks by Ms. Rucha Awati, Manager – Events & Membership, IFCCI, setting the tone for a day of meaningful exchange and industrial exploration.
The first session featured a presentation by Mr. V Venkatraman, Head – Business Development: Industrial & Warehousing, Horizon Industrial Parks, who spoke on the evolution of industrial infrastructure and asset-light models in India. This was followed by an address from Mr. Karan Sethi, Vice President – Infrastructure Investment, Invest India, who shared a macro-overview on manufacturing velocity and the availability of Grade A infrastructure.
After a short networking tea break, participants were taken on a guided tour of the TACO Punch Powertrain manufacturing facility, where they witnessed first-hand the company’s advanced processes, cutting-edge technologies, and operational excellence. The visit also offered valuable insights into the engine assembly lines and testing systems, highlighting the role of automation, precision engineering, and stringent quality control in ensuring world-class manufacturing standards.
The programme concluded with a networking lunch, offering participants an opportunity to connect and exchange insights.
