The CFO Committee of Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI), in collaboration with Orange Business, hosted a Session on ‘Generative AI: From Research to Real-World Applications’ on 11th December 2024 at Orange Business, Gurugram, in a hybrid format.
The event commenced with opening remarks by Mr. Sanjeev Paliyal, CFO, Orange Business and Ms. Aarushi Gautam, Manager - Committees & Events (North), IFCCI.
Mr. Brahmananda Sanil, Vice Chairperson, IFCCI CFO Committee & CFO - India and Philippines, Teleperformance, set the tone for the meeting and shared his insights on the evolving role of CFOs in leveraging AI for strategic decision-making.
The session featured insightful presentations and best practices by Mr. Gaurav Rana, Leading Financial Payment Services for India, Orange Business, talked about their Universal Payment Project and the impact of mobile-based financial transactions on the lives of people, and by Mr. Gaurav Mathur, Senior Manager, Digital & Data, Orange Business who delved into the evolution and real-world applications of Generative AI in business functions, explaining how AI tools enhance processes like budgeting, contracts, customer service, and content generation while ensuring data security.
