The CCI France Inde, under the aegis of its CFO Committee and in collaboration with TotalEnergies successfully organised the CFO Committee Meeting & Interaction on ‘Empowering the Indian CFO and Alignment', on 12th June 2025 at the TotalEnergies office in Mumbai.
The meeting began with welcome remarks by Ms. Shweta Pahuja, Regional Director (Western Region), IFCCI, and Ms. Smriti P., CFO & VP - Corporate Affairs, TotalEnergies.
Mr. Rajat Roy, Chairperson, IFCCI CFO Committee and Executive Director & VP - Finance, Accor Hotels India & South Asia, in his opening address, shared an overview of the Committee's past initiatives and its role in promoting financial leadership.
The Session featured a fireside conversation between Mr. Brahmananda Sanil, CFO, Teleperformance & Vice Chairperson, IFCCI CFO Committee; Ms. Bindu Sharma, CFO, FM India Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd. and Ms. Komal Dani, Partner, Trilegal. The discussion delved into the evolving role of Indian CFOs in global organisations, with a focus on:
- Bridging cultural, linguistic, and mindset differences between Indian teams and global headquarters
- Navigating geopolitical challenges while fostering transparency and credibility
- Meeting rising compliance expectations and leveraging advisory support
- Embracing digital transformation and managing large-scale transitions
- Strengthening cash flow management and strategic financial leadership
- Aligning local financial practices with international governance frameworks
The session concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Pankaj Walia, Partner, Forvis Mazars, the Knowledge Partner of IFCCI CFO Committee.
