The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) successfully hosted the IFCCI CEO Committee Meeting on 15th April 2025 at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi. Held just ahead of the Indo-French Business Awards 2025, the session brought together top decision-makers from French and Indian industries for a high-level strategic dialogue.
The meeting commenced with context setting by Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI, followed by welcome remarks fromMr. Jean Touboul, President, IFCCI & CEO, Pernod Ricard India, both of whom reiterated the Chamber’s commitment to fostering meaningful Indo-French collaboration.
The session was graced by the Welcome Address of H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, and featured a special address by Mr. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon’ble Union Minister for Communications and Minister for Development of the North Eastern Region, Government of India.
Mr. Scindia spoke on the transformative opportunities emerging in India’s connectivity and regional development landscape, emphasizing policy reforms, digital advancements, and sectoral investments that are paving the way for accelerated growth.
Mr. Chanchal Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, also addressed the CEOs, underlining the government’s commitment to inclusive development and Indo-French collaboration in the region.
The meeting concluded with an engaging interactive session with CEOs of prominent French companies, including Airbus and Dassault Systèmes, who shared insights on sustainability, regional expansion, innovation, and the future of industry-led partnerships.
Mr. Benoit Renard, Vice President, IFCCI North & Managing Director, Air Liquide India, delivered the concluding remarks, reflecting on the growing Indo-French synergy and collective vision for 2025 and beyond.
This high-level gathering set a powerful precedent for the evening’s Indo-French Business Awards, further underlining the strength of Indo-French strategic ties and shared ambitions.
