IFCCI, under the aegis of its CFO Committee, and in association with the Embassy of France in India, organised its Annual Union Budget Seminar 2026.

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) had the privilege of hosting its Annual Union Budget Seminar 2026 on 10th February 2026, under the aegis of the IFCCI CFO Committee, bringing together senior leaders from the Government, CFOs of Indo-French companies, and the Indo-French business ecosystem to reflect on the Budget’s priorities and its implications for trade, investment, and economic growth.
We were delighted to begin the session with opening remarks by Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI, followed by a Budget Snapshot from Mr. Nishant Saini (KPMG in India).
A key highlight was an insightful fireside conversation on India’s Economic Outlook Post-Budget featuring highlights from the recent India-EU FTA:

The seminar also featured an engaging CFO panel discussion on Tax, GST and Customs reforms, moderated by Mr. Himanshu Sinha (Trilegal), with valuable perspectives from:
