IFCCI Aerospace & Defence Committee Relaunched
IFCCI relaunched its Aerospace & Defence Committee on 19th January 2026, at the Thales India office in Noida.
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) is pleased to relaunch its IFCCI Aerospace & Defence Committee on 19th January 2026, at the Thales India office in Noida at a pivotal moment ahead of the upcoming State Visit of the President of France.
The meeting was chaired by Ms. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General, IFCCI, with strategic inputs from Mr. Ankur Kanaglekar, Vice President India, Thales.
We were delighted to have around 15 participants attending in person, along with several members joining online.
Key highlights:
- Renewed mandate to support members through advocacy & industry engagement
- Inclusive participation across OEMs, SMEs, MSMEs and Indian stakeholders
- Stronger engagement planned with MoD, DRDO, DPSUs & regulators
- Committee structured around three pillars: Knowledge, Advocacy, Networking
- Enhanced coordination with the French Embassy, GIFAS & Business France
Next steps are underway, including a member survey and the next committee meeting, to be hosted very soon.
We look forward to driving meaningful collaboration within the Indo‑French Defence & Aerospace ecosystem.
