On Thursday, at a posh location in Mumbai, fashion enthusiasts in the city took part at a networking event to discuss and exchange notes pertaining to the world of fashion & lifestyle with their counterparts from other side of the world – France.
“India is growing and we need to be a part of this journey,” said marketing manager of a France-based multinational trend-forecasting company, Reece Mitchell, who is in the city to capitalise on the need for their services in the Indian market. A presentation on the latest trends for SS’19 was given, followed by a n open discussion on fashion and a meet-and-greet with professionals from the fashion world.
“These events are a great way for people to interact and understand more about the importance of design, brands in India need help with design,” added Tarun Thadani, founder of the start-up responsible for this Indo-French fashion exchange.
The event and after-party was conducted by Mumbai-based star-up Fashionablyin, in collaboration with French company Promostyl. Celebrities like Tara Sharma attended along with some well-known designers and upcoming talents attended this one-of-a-kind fashion gathering.
