On the 10th of November, the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) held its Annual Gala Dinner in association with Atout France - France Tourism Development Agency at the Taj West End in Bangalore.
The soirée, themed ‘Paris in the 1920’s’ or ‘Les Années Folles’, was attended by Shri R. V. Deshpande, Minister for Large and Medium Industries in Karnataka, Mme. Anne Genetet, Member of the French Parliament and Mr. François Gautier, Consul General of France in Bangalore, along with more than a hundred and fifty distinguished guests from the Indo–French community.
After a brief address from the honorable chief guests, the night was kicked off by the highly anticipated lucky draw. The prizes up for grabs included a return trip to Paris with Air France flights and a three-night stay at the luxurious Belmont Hotel, a holiday at two of the beautiful Relaix & Chateux properties, Malabar House & Purity in Kerala and also a relaxing stay at the Shreyas Retreat in Bangalore, among others.
This event was made possible by our Gold Sponsor Bharat Forge, Silver Sponsors Sanofi and SBI Mutual Fund, Gift Sponsor Jean-Claude Biguine and Lucky-Draw Partners Pernod Ricard, Ibis and the Taj West End.
The back lawns of the Taj were transformed to reflect the decadence of the 20’s, with entertainment from a live Jazz band, and the chance to enjoy French wine & champagne, cheese and cuisine. The Gala served as the ideal platform for Indian and French companies to interact and network, whilst celebrating the decade France rediscovered ‘La Joie de vivre’.
