The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) is pleased to launch its first ever CFO committee as part of the 40th year of its successful establishment in India.
The objective of this committee is to create a platform for CFO heads from top Indian and French companies to network and discuss best practices as well as exchange views on current industry trends on a quarterly basis.

A Chartered Accountant with 28 years of experience in various industries including Electrical Energy, Gas Distribution, Manufacturing of Chemicals, Textiles, Tyres and FMCG. He has worked as CFO and as Managing Director of a public limited company in India.
In his current role as CFO for India Zone, he partners the President & MD in managing all businesses of Schneider Electric in India and neighbouring countries. His prime focus is in business performance management and decision support related to investments and business models and in organisational transformation. He has worked extensively in efficiency improvement, processes and systems and risk management. He sits on the board of several Schneider Electric companies in India. He has been actively involved in CFO and CEO Forums and has chaired economic forums of the CII. He has been awarded as a CFO several times, including under League of Excellence. He likes to blog and engage on subjects on business and leadership.

K Ramachandar is the Chief Financial Officer for the BNP Paribas India branch since 2005. He joined BNP Paribas in May 1997 as manager and has been with the bank for 20 years. He has extensive experience in finance and tax domains and contributes to strategic planning in his current role. He also handles the Basel 3 compliance aspects for BNP Paribas as well as acts as a coordinator in dealings with RBI on those matters. He is a Member of Asset Liability Committee and Management Committee of BNP Paribas in India.
K Ramachandar is a chartered accountant by profession and prior to BNP Paribas, he was the Company Secretary and Manager – Finance at Philips Medical Systems where he worked for ten years. He started his career with M/s. S.B.Billimoria as a practicing Chartered Accountant. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretary of India.

Kamal is an accomplished professional with extensive and diverse experience in the finance domain. Prior to joining Thales, he has held important positions in various corporates like Emaar MGF, UBM Construction BHD and consulting firm Mazars.
