Mumbai: Panel discussion on the 2014 Indian Elections
The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in partnership with Control Risks, is organizing a panel discussion on ‘Indian Business Environment – Elections 2014, Scenarios, Opportunities and Beyond’ on the 11th of March 2014 at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach at 7pm. Registration will start at 6.30pm.
The discussion will focus on the most awaited event of 2014: the General Elections. The Election Commission of India estimates that approximately 788 million people are eligible to vote in 2014 – an electorate that’s more than double the population of the United States.
What will be likely outcomes of this Election? Will there be significant regulatory changes and how will it impact the safety of businesses? What does the Election mean for business operations in India?
Understanding and managing the political risks prevalent in the country in which organisations operate is a key component of continued success. Equally, exploiting business opportunities in challenging environments is easier when companies are prepared for the risks involved.
